1. The service
Hivo ("we") operates AI creative studios under various domains (each a "Studio"). A Studio lets registered users generate images, video and music from text and reference media, store the results and share them. These terms apply to every Studio we operate.
2. Accounts
You must be at least 18 years old. You are responsible for your account and for keeping its credentials private. One person may not run more than one account on a Studio to obtain free credits repeatedly.
3. Credits and payments
Generations are paid with credits. Credits are bought as one-time packs or granted by a subscription each billing period. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled; cancellation stops the next renewal and keeps the current period's credits. Payments are processed by our payment provider; we do not store card numbers. Refunds are described in the refund policy.
4. Acceptable use and content standards
These rules apply to everything you submit to a Studio (prompts, uploaded images, video and audio) and to everything you generate with it (images, video, music and text). You may not use a Studio to create, upload, store or share any of the following:
- Pornographic and NSFW content: sexually explicit material, nudity meant to arouse, and sexual services or solicitation. Studios are not adult services: this content is prohibited, not age-restricted.
- Violence and gore: graphic depictions of violence, blood, mutilation, torture or cruelty to people or animals, and content that glorifies, threatens or incites violence, self-harm, terrorism or extremism.
- Hate speech: content that attacks, demeans or incites hatred or discrimination against people because of their race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, disability or illness.
- Child-unsafe content (CSAM): any sexual, sexualised or exploitative depiction of a minor or of anyone who appears to be a minor, real or fictional, and any other content that endangers children. Zero tolerance: the account is closed permanently and the case is reported to the competent authorities.
- Deepfakes and impersonation: realistic images, video or voice of a real person made without their consent, in particular sexual, defamatory or misleading ones, and content that poses as a person, brand, company or public body in order to deceive.
- Copyright and trademark infringement: content that copies or imitates protected works, characters, logos, brand names or a person’s likeness without the right to do so, and uploads you have no right to use.
Also prohibited: anything illegal where you live or where we operate; fraud, scams, spam and deliberate disinformation; harassment and the disclosure of other people’s private information; instructions for making weapons, drugs or malicious software; presenting AI-generated content as a real recording or event in order to mislead; and any attempt to get around the safety filters (jailbreak prompts, coded wording, automated abuse).
5. Reporting content
Anyone, with or without an account, can report content or behaviour that breaks these rules, including content that imitates you or uses your work without permission. Send the report to [email protected] with the link or a description of the content, the Studio it appeared on, and why you believe it breaks the rules. Registered users can also open a ticket from the support page of the Studio. For copyright and trademark complaints, add proof that you own the rights or act for their owner.
We keep the reporter’s identity confidential and never pass it to the person reported. Every report is read by a person. We confirm receipt within 2 business days; reports about child safety, threats of violence or sexual deepfakes are handled first, within 24 hours, and the content is taken offline while we examine it. We tell you the outcome. Knowingly false reports can lead to action against the reporter’s own account.
6. Content moderation and enforcement
Moderation works in three layers:
- Automated filtering: every prompt, every uploaded file and every result passes through the safety systems of the AI models that produce it before anything is delivered. Flagged requests and results are blocked; we do not offer unfiltered model output.
- Human review: our team reviews user reports, generations that the filters flag, and accounts with unusual activity.
- Sampling: we regularly review a sample of generations and public share pages to check that the filters work, and tighten the rules when they do not.
When content or conduct breaks these rules we act in proportion to its seriousness and to earlier violations: (1) a warning with a request to remove the content; (2) removal of the content and of its public links; (3) limits on features or on generation; (4) temporary suspension of the account while we investigate; (5) permanent closure of the account, without refund of unused credits; (6) a report to law enforcement or to the competent child-protection body where the content appears to be illegal. Serious violations go straight to the later steps.
If you believe a decision is wrong, write to [email protected] within 14 days. We review the case again and reply within 7 business days.
7. Your content
You keep the rights you have in what you upload and in the results you generate, to the extent the law and the model providers' terms allow. You grant us the licence needed to store, process and display it to run the service. Public sharing links are visible to anyone who has the link.
8. Availability and changes
The service is provided as is. Models, prices and features change over time; generation can fail, in which case the credits are returned. We may suspend the service for maintenance.
9. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect damages or for how you use the generated content.
